Pour is a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is caramel and other burnt sugar notes. Flavor is a nice rich caramel malt with some candi covered dark fruit. Very rich and malty. A nice example of the style and the best thing about having a beer is having at the brewery amongst god’s country. Mine was 5.7% called persimmon biere de garde.

Draft at scratch. From notes. My version was 5.5%. Pours a clear light orange. Spicy herbal hops with loads of dried fruits. One of the better ones ive tried from here.
