When we formulated this beer a year or three ago (time is a hazy thing), we thought we were inspired by our memories of West Coast IPAs from back in the day. Our Mutual Respect Brewers Co-op in-house beer god told us he didn’t think it was a West Coast IPA but more inspired by east coast IPAs of the time. It seems our east coast roots came through without us realizing it. However it is described, it fits our desire of a tasty IPA we want to drink lots of. Extremely drinkable and enjoyable.

Draught at Broken Goblet: pours copper. Aroma is old school IPA, resinous and malty. Taste is malty and fairly bitter. Meh. Olde School.

This rating represents my 120th Pennsylvania brewery that I have rated a beer from. 16 ounce can from Trenton Road Takeout. Number one with a bullet. Amber gold color. Massive fluffy off-white head. Slightly herbal and citrusy nose. Flavor is bittersweet citrus, pine and a hint of minty hops on backend.
