Our Mexican Coffee Stout has a satisfyingly complex grain bill comprised of seven different malts, yielding a rich and layered profile with a silky-smooth mouthfeel and a firm cocoa-like bitterness. Conditioned on fresh locally roasted Mexican Chiapas coffee, cinnamon, guajillo peppers, and vanilla, Mexican Coffee Stout lands perfectly balanced amongst the coffee, spice, and rich stout base.

From a 2$ can at chalet. Surprising viscous black beauty pour and a considerable choco moose tan head, hehehh. Nose is boozy malt chocolate. First taste makes me think about some of the better on style imp stouts I've tried; boozy dark mildly bitter chocolate with a thicker treacly feel. This stuff is pretty much flat and mouth coating on the palate. This probably should be styled as an impy stout. The coffee really don't show up until you get past the middle; and that's when the cinnamon becomes apparent as well. Maybe its better to dispose of the cinnamon in this, it distracts from the overall session. Half seas over clinging numbing finish. There, you have it.

Floor is coffee bakers cocoa. Light but substantial. Some cinnamon and Bitter in the finish. Also yum 😋

12 ounce can from Erica. Thanks, girl! Jet black pour. Frothy tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, cinnamon and fresh ground coffee. Flavor mirrors nose. Flavors are the same, but the coffee is more prevalent on the palate. Some warmth comes through in middle. Is it the quajillo peppers or the 7.5% ABV? Some chocolatey notes and earthiness on backend. Well done.
