Clear golden color, small white head, good lacing. Aroma of white pepper, Belgi yeast and bubblegum. Medium to full-bodied. Mango-apricot fruity flavor, sweetish with some spices and Belgian yeasty esters. Typical American style tripel.

Bottle on 01/06/2011 courtesy of Butters. Slightly cloudy golden orange body with a large frothy white head. Sweet bready, fruit and honey aroma with some light spice. Sweet spice flavor with some light fruit, bread and honey with a bit of a dry bitter finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Cloudy dark blond color. Aroma of cereals and malt. Sweetish malt flavor, with a good body strength and correct bitterness. Pleasant.
2011-03-08, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Blond color; creamy head. Once again a failed attempt to brew a Triple in North America: smell and flavor of dirty water, too much residual sweetness, totally missing the Belgian yeast character, overly bitter.
Besides the point, it’s a regular Strong Ale with high bitterness, lightly spicy, just drinkable, but not conveying any pleasure.

22oz bomber split with Ann. Hazy, unfiltered glowing orange-tan. Bready, rich Tripel. A pretty solid effort, not quite on par with a quality Belgian example. Sweet, with an over-abundance of candi sugar. Some mellow banana-clove tones. Overall pretty drinkable, but hardly a World Class beer.

22 ounce bottle courtesy of kenb in Mystery Swap 4. Thanks Ken! I’ve had this a while, and its ten months old now if it was purchased fresh. Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of honey, nutty notes, some faint bread. The taste is biscuity malts, honey, citrus fruits, plum and a faintly bitter finish. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer.

bouteille. dorée, blanche. arôme, levure belge, avec un zeste de citronnelle et de malt. goût, similaire à l’arôme, qcq notes de levure belge, sucre brun, citron et fruit tropical, léger grains et malt caramel. Pas dégeu, mais le palais grade un peu trop de l’aspect citron qui est un peu contraire au style triple ainsi que une fin qui est trop axée sur les épices.

Shipped to me by my wife on a trip to Portland. Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very cloudy apricot color with a small soapy white head. The aroma was tangy table sugar with a yeasty undertone and a touch of alcohol. The flavor was spicy and tangy with notes of table sugar and bread. The middle turned dry and a bit boozy and medicinal. The finish was long, dry, spicy and sugary. Medium body but rather flat in carbonation. Ok.

Hazy golden coloured body with a dense off-white head. Aroma of nice yeast and light spices (coriander seed and allspice) with a touch of wheat and curacao. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with a strong wheat backbone, a touch of light hops, strong alcohol and a big spicey bite to the beer. Aftertaste shows a good wheatie character, subtle sweetness from honey and bubblegum and a little spicey character at the end with some dryness. Overall, a good beer, definitely showing the good characteristics of a tripel, but some of the mild and subtle flavours are a bit off. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 25-May-2010, sampled at home in Washington with Phil (haddon90) on 19-July-2010.

Canned carrot and candi aroma, brown sugar hints. Hazy amber, headless. Full bodied and dry for the style. Peach and lemon grass flavor, with substantially more of the latter. Powdery mouthfeel, biting grapefruit peel finish. Tastes well above the 34 IBUs on the label. Very bitter from start to finish. Different, but unpleasant. Alcohol well concealed, though.

On tap at Pike pub, pours a transparent light golden. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Flavour is a fairly weak one for a tripel, but still refreshing.
