Pours a fairly light golden color and yields the same colored body with a nice half finger white foamy head that dies within a minute, moderate light somewhat sticky lacing graces the sides of the glass; the aroma is iced pears/apples, a fair amount of honey, a little bit of citrus, a little bit of coriander dosed with a good amount of Belgian yeast, taste is all of the previously mentioned flavors coming through in a floral sort of grainy spicy way; it seems to be fairly easy on the palate and the carbonation is good for the style and for me; overall, Iβd say a pretty good Tripel though Iβm not a Tripel expert, its still good to me and Iβd have again

Tap at Pike Pub & Brewery, Seattle - 09/11/12. Clear pale golden with a thin off white head that quickly clears to the edge. Nose is Belgian yeast esters, lemon, grass, sugars. Tastes of Belgian yeast, lemon, sweet toffee, dark fruits. Full bodied with soft carbonation with a warming boozy finish. Average/Ok - a little too sweet!
