750ml from the brewery. Off garbage tones in the aroma. Deep brown unfiltered body. Brown sugar Belgian Brown Ale. Leathery brown sugar. Not so good. The aroma kills it.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a red-brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was cherry, plum, boozy, almost medicinal and had a burnt caramel note. The flavor was boozy, black cherry, fig, plum, a touch medicinal, faintly smoky and had a bit of burnt caramel. Very long finish. Medium body. Odd but interesting.

Candy aroma. Interesting leather on typical EE yeast. Doesn’t seem to be near 10% but fer sure you know there’s alky in thar. On tap at the bocktown. Quite unique, on the up side of the bell curve.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Dark brown color with red hue; small creamy head. Aroma of dark fruits, dark malts. Sweet flavor, caramel and light sourness, some dark fruits; low bitterness and quite high alcohol presence, boozy. Weird.
