At Sct. Clemens as Pale Smoked. Cloudy amber with a big white head. Aroma of bready malt, meaty smoke and a touch of medicinal peat smoke. Sweetish malty flavour with a touch of roast character and meaty smoke.

Draught at the brewpub Sct. Clemens, Århus
Blond color; big head. It has an interesting aroma of crispy malt, cereals and honey, with a light smokey touch. Crispy malty flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, good; there is also some dry toffee flavor. The only thing I don’t like is the bitterness, that is a bit too high and harsh on the back of the palate. Pleasant, anyway.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a dense, retentive, off-white head. Sweetish malt aroma with a smoky whiff. Medium body, extremely sweet malt - almost candy-like - with a discreet yet rather appealing note of smoke. There’s a wee whiff of butter as in many Apollo beers - not in an infected way though, is it the yeast? Moderate bitterness in the finish. 040108

Draft. A hazy copper colored beer with a medium off-white head. The arom ais slightly smoked combined with notes of fruits just beginning to rot. The flavo ris sweet with medium notes of smoke and bacon, with an underlying note of acidity, leading to a very sparkling finish. Remove the acidity and this beer would be really good.
