On tap at Bishops Arma Vasagaten. Pours black with a small beige head. Dry roasted malts and coffee beans on the nose; some green peppers. Flavour has a dry roasted malt profile, the coffee does come off a bit like green peppers unfortunately, though it's not too distracting. Very nice.

On tap at The Bishops Arms Vasagatan, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has a sort of green peppery character to the coffee beans, along with dark sugars, and soft roasted malt. Flavour has plenty of dark sugars, moderate coffee beans, light green pepper, and a touch of roast. Good coffee character despite the green pepper and nice base malts. Very good.

Exttemely black and oily pour, settles with almost no head. Tons of roasted malts and quite a bitter hop and coffeee bite bitterness in the aroma faintrr syrupy sweetness. Great super heavy imp stout aroma. Flavor is chocolate coffee cake with a lot of hard roasted malty base.Somewhat more pastry than aroma. Still a good crazy insane chocolate cake imp stout. Sipper. Not much food can match this beer, perhaps Jalapenos, perhaps fat lagered very flavorful cheese

33cl bottle from hopt.it, France. Bought in December 2020. Pours black, with minimal brown foam, fine. Aroma is of coffee and chocolate, cinnamon, nutty. Very rich. Body is dense, sticky, smooth, with soft carbonation. Taste is markedly sweet and roasty at the same time. Final is rich, roasty and chocolate, fairly bitter.

On savoure.

Bottle picked up from ?? actually not sure where actually, but consumed at home Thursday 15th July 2021 we have Marc Riley on 6Music playing now. Pours black with a slim beige head. Coffee and some bourbon on the nose and of course plenty of chocolate, taste follows a similar line, but also to add it is very smooth, thick in the mouth, malty, roasty and rich. Really nice.

Imperial stout with Honduran coffee and muscovado sugar, from this prominent craft brewery in Spain. Small-bubbled and moussy but very thin and open, greyish-beige head over a black beer with very thin mahogany edge. Aroma of latté macchiato, fondant chocolate, cigar ashes, toffee, pecan nut pie, cappuccino, whisky, nougat, black olives, old raisins. Sweet onset, candied dates, slight umami touch (soy sauce) but remaining subtle, finely tingling carb, full and oily body; pecan-nutty, toffeeish and bitter-chocolatey malt bittersweetness, slight cocoa aspect, leading to a mildly roasty finish in which a cappuccino-like effect from the added coffee becomes clear enough. Nuttiness and coffee aspects linger in a whisky-like, warming finish, paired with a peppery hop accent, toastiness and a slight impression of cinnamon. Perfectly constructed, beautiful coffee stout: not too sweet, maintaining relatively high drinkability compared with many other strong stouts these days, but full of colour, complexity and flavour. Loved it.
