Re-rate 11/7/07: Two weeks old growler (well, the bottle is smaller than a growler but same concept). Muddy brown color with no head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, malt a bit of caramel and a bit of alcohol. Flavor is sweet with wheat, yeast, lots of banana, some malt, some caramel, and alcohol in the finish. As the beer warms a bit the yeast character gets a bit more refined (it seemed a bit over the top at first), and more toasted bread taste starts to evoke. Medium-bodied. Still good, but not as good as before. Iโ€™m not gonna change the score since itโ€™s not really fair to the beer. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

Draught at the brewpub. When I came to the brewpub I was really expecting to taste one of their beers called "Bazelet" (Basalt), when I arrived I was dissapointed to find out that they ran out of it a week ago, and a new batch will be ready only in another month and a half. I got a bit less disappointed when I had this treat instead: Cloudy brown color. Aroma of wheat, malt, banana, some clove and caramel. Sweet flavor with wheat, yeast, fruits and very nice caramelly malts that get more prominent as the beer warms up a bit. A bit of alcohol and a bit of acidity in the finish. Medium-bodied with a nice mouthfeel. Very good stuff! 7/4/7/4/15=3.7
