Got a growler of this from JR's. Looks like clear pale lager in the glass. Rather neutral on the olfactory but there is a nose hair of pear there if you look for it. Taste is sweee sweee sweet. So sweet I'm worried its gonna burn my tummy. Yes, seems to have lots of unfermentned sugars in this one. Decent co2. Comes across cleaner than most ciders. No sign of any rudeness in it which is so prevalent in the drier cider stuff. Really sort of as expected. Difficult at times because of the sweetness but its good none the less. Interesting and I got it for $3 so what ever. Good deal for a sammy smitty. Not bad overall but it does lack that waxy feeling on your palate you get from the really good perries.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a hint of green. Steady bubbles. Nose - fresh pears and apples. Light sweetness. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a tangy middle and finish. Overall - good.

On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a perry!
