An exemplary dark rich stout with a lasting loose tan head. Brewed with generous amounts of roast barley and German hops, expect an aroma of woodland, coffee and ash. The flavour is sweet and spicy, over herbal hops with a hint of coffee and a gorgeous blackberry sweetness which creeps in around the start of the sip, but finishing bitter and dry.

At GBBF 2011. Black beer lasting bubbly dark beige head. Roasty liquorice aroma. Good condition in mouth. In fact if i liked liquorice juicy stouts then this would be good. But i am not.. Good beer though and top marks for flavour and condition just not my thing
