Bottle: Deep amber coloured, clear, medium sized, quite stable off-white head; dark malty, almost not toasty nose with a very light hoppy background; sweetish flavour, light bodied; short thin dark-malty finish with a very delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite simple and monotonous.....

(swing top bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet grainy malty aroma with a touch of biscuits, vanilla and ashy notes. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slighly ashy and leafy malty taste with light grainy accents and notes of metal towards the sweetish malty finish. Less than decent Dunkles. 17.V.10

Bottled. Ruby colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some grass, mild notes of toasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Wellbalanced, even though it is a bit sweet.
