Reviewed from notes.
Growler with Doug and Henry.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a thin off white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Sly roaming lace.
The aroma had some milk chocolate, dark chocolate, good portion of roasty coffee beans, light cake. Lightly hopped in an earthy fashion.
The flavor moderately blended the prior mentioned aromas steadily together. Sly roasty to sweet sort of aftertaste rolling into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a tad under with a good sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done porter well worthy of having again.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is light chocolate and coffee. Beer is light, slightly sweet. Not particularly robust. Basically, this is just a normal sessionable porter. Good, but I think I preferred the other BnT beers to this.
