Black wax bottle thanks to Andy. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong cocoa, roast, wood, bourbon. Slick body, licorice, prune, roast, boozy, good.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and strong roasted malts with bourbon supporting and a slight nuttiness. Flavor has a combination of bitter dark grains and nuts with a strong roast and a growing bourbon presence.
