A Skagitonian Barrel-Aged Saison
Native yeast ale conditioned with honey
Time and nature can do wondrous things, causing beautiful flowers to spring forth from fallow fields and, in this case, causing a beer that was rather rough around the edges in its youth to develop a surprising elegance and sophistication with age.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is funk, wood, lemon balm, honey. Slick body, yeast, honey, wood, lemon, funk, nice tartness, very good.

Jan 30 2019. Nice oaky Brett forward saison. It's light mouthfeel but still packed with flavor. Reminds me of jester king saisons a bit.
