Cask at the Craft. Clear but very dark red beer. Tidy little tan head. Light smooth palate. A touch of unsweet dark chocolate. Mild red berry fruits. Trace of coffee, smooth dry finish.

Tapped(@ The Flower Pot, Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom): Literally black with a small fluffy tanned head, dryish leathery and "stouty" nose ( roasty and fruity including the usual dried fruits) nose; not too dry bitter-sweet clavour, light bodied; lingering leathery and malt- bitter finish, again black fruits detectable. Nice, nice Stout…

Cask @ Euston Tap, Euston NW1. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocoalte flavor with hints of caramel. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Very dark brown, ruby red colour, beige head. Nose is roasted malts, chocolate, bit of cocoa dust. Flavour is light roasted malts, fruits. Not really a stout and pretty poorly done anyway.

Cask @ Euston Tap, RBESG Weekend, 190 Euston Road, London, Greater London, England NW1 2EF.Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, dark roasted, chocolate malt, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110806]

Cask@Euston Tap, London. Deep brown, close to black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some slight chocolate, coffee and mild berryish notes as well. Flavour is roasted malts, some chocolate, coffee and also rather bitter notes in the finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 1/08/2011. Near black in colour with a thin tan head. Chocolate, carmale and dark fruit aroma. Flavour had plenty more chocolate, roasted malts and a dry finish. Good.
