A small stout. Big little sister. A winter beer for all seasons. Strong in taste instead of ABV, allowing you to indulge yourself. There are big roasted malt notes of coffee with a delicate chocolate finish.

Cask at CPK. Pours ruby-brown with a modest, off-white cap. Aroma holds dry, roasted malts with hints of coffee. Flavor is lightly sweet, plenty of dry roast, some ash. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Dry roast finish, some algae, cocoa, mild earth. Very decent.

The body is black with a shiny brownish shade. Naked surface. Spiced, dark malts to the nose. Blend of coffee, chocolate and dark spices in flavour added by leafy hops. Well made stout. Cask, half pint at Meet the brewer event at Cask Pub & Kitchen in Pimlico, London 4 Oct 10.
