Sampled on draft the brewpub this beer poured a golden amber color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was faint fruity hops and a bit of butter. The flavor was sweetish, buttery and mildly bitter with a fruity hop note. Long buttery and fruity finish. Medium body. Meh.

Tap at the D.C. venue. Pours dark gold with a white head. Aroma of citrus and roasty malt. Malt is not obscured by hop - which is plentiful. Decently bitter. But malty.

Draught @ the brewpub, Downtown DC. Pours clear dark amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and caramel. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, mwith bready and estery touches, and notes of hops. Bitter and somewhat bready aftertaste. Okay but not a typical pale ale.

Pretty good, with some tangerine and pine. Both this and the Unite were good pale ales at the brewpub. Pours light amber with good head and lacing. Medium bitter finish, good balance with malt. Tap.
