Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

Cask pint at Stratford Haven, Nottingham. Pours clear golden with a tight white head. Aroma: biscuit malts, citrus. Taste: light sweet & moderate to heavy bitter, bitter citrus fruit dominates. Some pith & zest also. Medium body, fine carb, dry bitter close

Cask, 4.5% at the Wharf. Clear dark copper colour. The flavour is clean and fruity with more fruit in a good fruity aroma hop note, flowery. Good bitterness and a faint hop bite in the finish. Flavorful and well-balanced.

Cask @Greenwich Tavern. Ciemnobursztynowe, klarowne, prawie zero wysycenia i piany. Aromat delikatnie owocowy (cytrusy!) i chlebowo-karmelowy. Smak konkretnie gorzki. Pełnia dość niska, pije się naprawdę przyjemnie.

Cask @ The White Horse, Chilham. Clear golden colour, white foam. Citrussy, notes of tropical fruit. Rather bitter and grassy hoppy finish. Not bad.

Cask at Anglers Arms, Northumberland. Amber colour with a white foam head leaving lots of lacing. Nose of zesty citrus hops. Taste is malty, caramel with floral citrus hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering citrusy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste some malts, a nice hoppy touch, lightly tropical fruits and pleasantly bitter. Quite nice.

Gbbf. Klares dunkel goldenes Bier mit geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm fruchtig hopfig, leicht harzig. Geschmack zitronig hopfig, Orangen, citrus, okay.
