Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 041014

Cask at White Horse, Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk. 9th July. Clear gold. Thick, bubbly, white head. Flora. Citrus. Grainy malt. Taste is light bitter. A little mineral dryness. Fresh, zesty palate. Finish is punchy, citrus bitter. Best pint of a quick jaunt to Norfolk.

Appearance- golden, with a one finger white head, which leaves some lacing. Aroma- hops, lemons, a bit of malt, some citrus, fruity. Taste has more fruit, a malt backbone, bitter hops in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. A good ale.

Small offwhite creamy head. Slightly hazy brown body. Fruity grape aroma with resiny floral notes. Dry-sweet caramelly grape taste with strawy floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel, slightly oily. Dryish dusty grape and citrus aftertaste with resiny strawy notes. Lovely and highly drinkable. (0.568l cask at Charlieโs Bar, Copenhagen.)

Cask at the moon under water JDW Watford. Orange clear pour with a loose off white head that disapates. Aroma is nice berry hedgerow hop with gooseberry and spicy lemon. Flavour comprises of hop resin spicy pine, straw cereal and some orange. Pretty decent. Medium sticky resinous feel in the mouth.

Cask @ The Junction, Clapham Junction. Copper. Clear with a bit of head, heavy lacing. The aroma is faint but lovely, with Piney and fruity hops coming through. Taste is bittersweet, shot through with hops. Dry bitter finish.
