An English Strong Ale brewed December in 2017 then aged for 9 months in a mix of Port and Sherry barrels. It is strong and smooth, with a complex interplay of toast, vanilla, raisin, plum, fig and molasses.

Draft at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a very dark copper color with a small, wispy white head. Aroma was strong boozy notes. Not hot, but you can tell it's there. Might be the Sherry or port barrels. A bit too sweet. Was hoping for more toffee, but this was pretty tasty.
