This amber colored, medium bodied brew takes its name from the malted and flaked oats added during brewing, which add a smooth, creamy flavor and mouth-feel. Rich, creamy, and well balanced. crisp German caramel flavors balanced out by mild, spicy, slightly citrus Liberty hops. Sure to be a favorite.

Draft at Ornery Beer Company Public House. Poured a mostly clear light amber color, almost a light ruby red color with a small, off-white head. Aroma was slightly sweet, but not sickly sweet. Light nutty roasted character. Flavor was sweet malts, slightly dry finish. Decent red.
