One foggy New England afternoon, a young boarding school student spilled some Popeyes popcorn shrimp into the bay. It made its long journey to the lair of a Mantis shrimp. Things got meta as the shrimp ate the shrimp and couldn’t even right now, seriously. The stress and paradox of accidental cannibalism, coupled with the explosion of cajun flavor, the Mantis shrimp grew surprisingly large, bushy eyebrows like Burt Reynolds stepping on a rattlesnake. His eyes shrunk down to pinhead sized black dots like Gary Sinise’s trying to read a exit ramp sign from a mile down the road. His startling appearance made him exceptionally adept at paralyzing his victims, so he was able to grow to the size of a Bull Terrier in a short time. His prey also grew in size and he got a taste for inflatable turtle floaties, which he now searches for in all-inclusive resort swimming areas. It is recommended that you use duck or even orca whale floaties to avoid a devastating attack. Featuring El Dorado and Pekko hops, this is our silkiest DIPA to date and extremely smooth with low bitterness with characters of orange sherbet and peach rings.

Draft pour at Dominion Wine and Beer, upstairs bar. Poured a super hazy dull yellow color with a medium sized, slihgtly off-white, creamy head. Aroma was really juicy stonefruit, apricots in particular for me. Really juicy. Initial sip was a touch bitter, but all subsequent sips were smooth and juicy. Really nice.
