Black Summer Rain is our oatmeal stout. We love a satiny nitro brew, particularly in the cooler months, so we decided to bring back this 6.4% black beauty. Built on a luxe Maris Otter base, silkified with malted and flaked oats, and deepened with a blend of specialty dark malts. Roasty and brimming with robust flavor… but at an approachable ABV and sans milk sugar.

Roast and burnt oat. Black pour with decent mocha head. Bitter end. Very pleasant oatmeal stout. Tap at brewery.

4 oz pour on nitro at Ocelot. Black with tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roast. Tastes of roast, dark chocolate, light floral. Medium body with a dry finish.

Draft at Ocelot. Poured a dark black color with a small white head. Aroma was roasted malts, chocolate. Smooth, roast. Milk and dark chocolate. Pretty tasty.
