The APS is a true Väsen original. Our version of an IPA is a double dry-hopped golden saison with moderate bitterness that is balanced by its full body and smooth finish. Flavors and aromas of ripe peaches and grapefruit from Citra hops meld with freshly baked bread and subtle nuttiness contributed by Maris Otter malt from the U.K.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a very slightly hazy, mostly clear golden orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light malt, citrus, wheat notes. Malt, with some bubblegum and a very mild funky character.

Draft sample at Dominion Wine & Beer, thanks Tyler! Clear orange brown with off-white head. Aromas of malt, caramel, light floral notes. Tastes of malt, citrus, light caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. Weird combo.

Draft: Rosehip nose. Clear copper, medium head, good lace. Marigold, vanilla, subtle caramel note. Medium body, easy carbonation. Interesting but no farmhouse character. Drinks like an EPA.
