A Brews & Brains event exclusive. This slightly smokey barrel aged stout was inspired by the 1746 Battle of Culloden during the Jacobite Rebellion in which the Jacobite army tried to overthrow the throne of England for House Stuart for Prince Charles Edwards Stuart to rule. During this bloody and decisive battle that ended the war, Prince William, Duke of Cumberland was able to secure the rule of House Hanover and King George II. However, in the process he earned the nickname "The Butcher" for he ordered his troops to show no quarter against any remaining Jacobite rebels.

Draft at BadWolf - Kao Circle. Poured a very dark cola color, nearly black, dark brown with a small light tan head. Aroma was a lot of char, almost a peaty note to it. Chewy malts, roasted chocolate, roasted malts.
