A beer near and dear to our head brewer Jack Snyder’s heart, Angel in White is our take on the timeless witbier. Previously only available on draft, this refreshing 5% Belgian-style ale could not have arrived at a better time of year.
We brew Angel in White with a hefty amount of oats and wheat. At over 60% of the grist, these grains lend the white ale a big, pillowy softness. A bright citrusy character is introduced with the addition of freshly ground coriander, dried orange, and dried lemon. And we ferment the witbier with a yeast descended from one of the style’s Belgian forefathers, balancing that citrus with spice and phenols.

Lemon peel and light banana. Some florals. Pours slightly hazy golden with pretty good head and lacing. Light bitter end. Good for style. Tap at brewery.
