Draft. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty coffee aroma. Roasted malty coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coffee finish.

Pint at the Ute & Yeti. Pours black, with a medium, dense, tan head. The aroma is cocoa, molasses, cardamom, anise, soy, and chalk. Sweet and malty, with a lovely, mild bitterness. Medium body, with a grainy, lightly acidic, and thick palate. This is a quality stout, with excellent coffee notes (and I don't like coffee!). Nicely balanced flavor, too. Lovely!

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Dark brown color with a medium foamy beige head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lace. Roast coffee, malt and chocolate aroma. Medium body with flavors of roasted coffee, bittersweet chocolate and a bit of hops. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
