Earlier in the year we got a phenomenal response from Sweet Carolinas, a creamsicle-inspired Milkshake IPA brewed with a bunch of friends from the Carolinas to help with hurricane relief. Folks enjoyed it so much that we thought we'd try to improve on the first iteration by making Double Orange Creamsicle, a Milkshake DIPA with over 1200lbs of orange puree, vanilla, milk sugar and Citra + Lotus hops.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: opaque orange thickness with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated slowly to leave some light lace
Aroma: big orange sweet puree', lots of sweet cream/lactose and vanilla, light sweet wafer
Flavor: good blend of the prior noted aromas to lead into a creamy sweet finish with the oranges
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, exceptionally smooth and creamy along the tongue, no hop bitterness whatsoever
Overall: another awesome milkshake IPA by Weldwerks.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours a hazy, orange color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is orange juice, cloves, vanilla, cream, and lemon pith. Sweet and citrusy, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a creamy, effervescent mouthfeel. Lovely!
