Bottle at Craig?s tasting 16th Oct 2012 Amber, thin white head, touch of lacing. Aroma of soft caramel, toffee malts. Taste as aroma. Palate - medium body bit dry and bitter. Finish of soft caramel malts, soft toffee.....brief notes as end of tasting

Bottled. Amber colour with a small creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is bready and a bit grainy with some mild floral and earthy notes. Flavour is rather similar with no big surprises. A quite standard amber ale, with maybe some slight Altish notes...

[Bottle from Beers of Europe] Amber, moderate off-white head, slight fizz. Lager-y hops up front - a bit of grass & lemon. Nice comforting, warming caramel malt in middle turns rather buttery after a while. Mildly bitter, slightly cardboardy finish. OK.

Bottle. Lightly sour lactic and barley malt aroma. Amber color with nice head. Light barley malt flavor with a hint of herbal hops in the finish. Light body. Not a good altbier, not a good amber ale. Bland and boring.

Keg at White Horse, Parsons Green, London. An amber coloured pour with a medium off white head. Malty aroma. Tastes malty, hoppy, caramel. Rather thin and forgettable to be honest.

Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110819]
