Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is chocolate syrup, tart cherries, harsh coffee, and caramel. Sweet and sugary, with a hint of bitterness. Medium body, with a sharp, boozy, and acerbic palate. This is a nice concept, but not great.
