Half pint at the brewery. Pours black, with a medium, fizzy, tan head. The aroma is licorice, bitter cocoa, cloves, pine, and almonds. Dry and malty, with a sharp bitterness. Medium body, with a hard, very lively, and dry mouthfeel. This is a nice, aggressive stout.
