Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a fine, medium, beige head. The aroma is mild coffee, pecans, burnt sugar, anise, and syrup. Sweet and a little yeasty, with a toasty bitter finish. Medium body, with a smooth and syrupy mouthfeel. Tasty and interesting.
