Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours dark brown, nearly black, with a small, dense, tan head. The aroma is caramel, black cherries, maple, vanilla, and mild lime. Sweet and syrupy, with a smooth, aggressive sour flavor. Medium body, with a velvety, acerbic mouthfeel. Lovely.
