Dominion Oak Barrel Stout is rich and smooth, a draught brew so popular at our Brewup that we found a way to bottle it for a wider audience. We combine seven different malts and two hops to create a delicious stout, that we dry-hop with fresh vanilla beans and toasted oak to finish our little treasure. The result is a stout that has the bourbon barrel flavor we all enjoy, and hope you will to.

Keg @ Head of Steam, Leeds. Black with a thin head. Crisp with very light roasted malts in both aroma and taste.

A little over barreled but decent. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Some chocolate. Bottle.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thick off white foamy and creamy two finger head. As the head dissipated, thin clingy spider webbing lacing sticks along the sides of the glass.
The smell had a big luscious sweet milk chocolate rolling into a dark chocolate and roasty coffee tones. Vanilla and woody notes help to balance.
The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors to combine and make sweet adding a light smoke to further balance. A super smooth creamy roasty sticky sweet aftertaste leads into a big sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a nice roasty coffee to sweet vanilla stickiness on my tongue.
Overall, uh...wow, where did this come from! Love this stuff! Definitely would have again!

Bottle from kihoskh, dark brown to black, smooth brown head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and roasted malts.. notes of vanilla too. Flavor is chocolate, vanilla, some roasted malts, quite sweet and non-bitter , but with quite a lot of flavor. end is somewhat more bitter as wood bitterness kicks in.
