Amber with a large foamy white head. Tangy & sweet with yeast, bubblegum, a bit of golden fruit and a hint of perfume. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

On tap in a flight at the brewery. Hazy orange color, with a small, beige head. The nose is orange peel, brown sugar, banana and doughy esters, and butterscotch. Sweet and phenolic, with no appreciable bitterness. Heavy body, chewy and thick, with a bit of effervescence. This is a fun and interesting beer, but it fails to hit a lot of the high points of a tripel.

Taster at the brewery - clear dark gold - headless - sugary aroma, with some moderate alcohol presence - flavor is all sugar, booze, rubbing alcohol - there is some moderate yeast spiciness and floral character in the finish, but most of the experience is simply not good.
