Snifter at the brewery. Pours dark brown, with a tan ring. The nose is smooth coffee, cream, dates, syrup, and light cocoa. Sweet and malty, with very little bitterness. Medium body, with a grainy and malty mouthfeel, and a clean finish. This is a nice, easy beer, and the coffee adds lovely aroma, without the acrid burnt character that usually accompanies it. Quite nice!
