22 oz. bottle shared at First Sunday. Pours a cloudy brown with a small, tan head. The aroma is heavy biscuit dough, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar, and black pepper. Heavy, malty sweetness, some mellow yeasty notes, and just a hint of spiciness. Heavy body, syrupy, thick, and smooth, with a clean aftertaste. This is a fairly good, thick, sweet beer, but lacks the complexity, depth, mouthfeel, and yeast character of a good Belgian-style beer.
