A hazy orange brown beer with a big beige head. Aroma of clove, dark malt, some chocolate, yeast. Taste of caramelized dark malt, clove, esters, spices, dark bread, a bit fruity.

Pours a dark brown color with hints of autumn harvest. Aroma of wheat, banana, and clove. Flavor is banana, nut, caramel, and a touch of molasses.

Bottled. Deep slightly hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white fluffy head. Aroma is wheat, spices, some mild toasted notes as well as some mild lactic note. Flavour is wheat, spices, yeast, some slight sour wooden notes as well as mild toasted notes. Not the best of Dunkelweizens.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace.Hazy dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, fruity, yeast, dark banana. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, chocolate, barbecued banana with chocolate, dark banana. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (bottle) Cloudy, ruby colour with a big and dense beige foamy head. Slightly sourish fruity, leafy and wheaty nose with a shy toasty touch. Light sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty and moderately fruity (berries) tastes with faint notes of caramel; light-sweet and sourish finish. Likeable dark wheat (24.07.08).

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Very hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Weak aroma of roasted malts, caramel and a whiff of yeast. Medium body, some overripe fruit and caramel accents. Fairly high in carbonation. The finish is dry. 160408
