Draught at the brewery. Cloudy orange-amber color with a nice creamy off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, a bit of juniper, some grainy notes, some malt and cookie notes. As the beer warms up the juniper takes over the hops and become very dominant in the aroma. Flavor has sweet thick maltiness (from which I guessed correctly the beer was iced) honey-ish and caramelly notes, some juniper spiciness and bitter finish, hoppy and spicy with a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied, oily mouthfeel. A bit weird. There’s something a bit off-putting about this beer that I can’t put my finger on (surprisingly, it’s not the juniper).
