Bottled@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, spices, earth, caramel and some mild yeastyness as well. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, some mild spicy and yeasty notes as well as some slight earthyness.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours straw yellow with a thin foamy white head. The nose is sweet pear, red apple and yeast. The taste is sweet pear, red apple, peach, lemon, hay, grass, yeast and straw. Low, but harsh carbonation and medium- bodied. Straight forward, but too sweet.

trade with jtclockwork–12oz bottle-pours a tight to rocky off white head and hazy gold color with particles. Aroma is light malt-bready, spice. Taste is sweet light malt-bready, spice/sharp herbal hops. Close but not my taste.

Bottle from Ohtsuki. Lemony, grapefruit aroma with some sweet cream, honey, bready malts. Slightly spicy. Deep, cloudy gold with a fine, frothy head. Lemony flavor, sweet and creamy, with light ginger and coriander, honey and vanilla. Soft, light,smooth. Dry, earthy ending that is not exactly bitter, but quite dry, somewhat tangy, and a bit muddy. Nice enough tripel.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is a fermentation mess of vegetables, cabbage and paper; not forgetting the alcohol. The body is not very strong, there is light residual sweetness, light malt, and as expected a nasty vegetables, sulphuric flavor too; yeasty. Horrible mistake.
