Met de Schuppenboer weten de brouwers van het Nest al meteen hun eerste bier op de kaart te zetten! Gebrouwen met cascade hop en toevoeging van koriander. Dit bier is een aanrader voor al wie houdt van een volmondig, fruitig bier met een lichtbittere, kruidige afdronk.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemon, and a bit of milk, leading to a dry citrusy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Spicy, yeasty and phenollic aroma. Medium body, sweet fruits and some rather astringent hops in the finish. 030410

Bottle at LCRBM 2009, Kulminator, Antwerp
Clear blond body, white fizzy/creamy head. Quite nice aroma of hops and some yeast. Quite refined and subtle. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not as astringent as the newer versions. Quite nice.

Clear blodn body. Aroma of hops with an unwanted aroma (dms?). Heavily bitter, lightly sweet floral flavour, bit astringent.

Hazy blond body. Nice floral aroma of hops, caramel, ... Moderately hop bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Bit astringent (due to the hops).

Hazy golden blond with giant foam head. Very lively, lots of sediment. Yeasty aroma. Full flavoured tripel with a nice spiciness and a good dry finish.
