on tap-pours a retaining light tan ring for a head and cloudy copper color. Aroma is roasty medium/dark malt-some chocolate/peat. Taste is roasty medium/dark malt-some chocolate/peat, secondary earthy bite.

Tap at brewpub. Brownish amber pour with a nice sandy head. Nose is roasty, but not real intense. Some light nuts. Lots more roasty notes in the taste with a real mild hop presence. Just the faintest of florals.
