Cask handpump at The Foundry Brewpub, Canterbury, Kent 16th July 2011, in company of Ian and the jolly nice brewer Tom? who gave us a tour and chat about the brewery. Pours hazy lemony gold. This surprised me at first as there was a distinctive hoppiness, but it’s acrisp refreshing beer, touch sulphurous on the nose, wheaty but it’s the hoppiness which whilst not overpowering adds an interesting a nice dimension to this beer. Good stuff. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3

Cask at the Foundry, Canterbury. Pours hazy light gold with a small head. Aroma is some lemon, wheat and a touch of corriander. Taste is a bit spicy to start and has a wheaty, medium bitter finish.
