Draft at In De Wildeman. Black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of big coco powder, powdered milk shake, milk chocolate, caramel and malt. Flavour is heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 11.5%. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla and sour fruit?. Flavour is roasted malts, caramel, vanilla, sweet, sugar, sour fruit, vanilla, dark fruit, notes of sourness, little dusty, warming and medium bitter.

Bottle @ Cafe albert. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, cakes, cinnamon, slight sourness. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, rich vanilla, dark chocolate, cocoa, cake, dried fruit, light alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 250217

Bottle @ Cafe Albert, Fanø tap take over. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice, fruits, caramel and has a nice dry finish.

Aroma: Dark roasted malt, fruity sweetness and notes of chokolate and coffee. Flavour: Dark chokolate and fruity sweetness, with port-like notes. Aftertaste is chokolate and malt. Mouthfeel is creamy and alcoholic warm. Colour: Almost pitch black with a brown head. From: Bottle @ FLASK Feb. 2016.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma has very sweet vanilla but also a strange underlying note of....tar or iodine. Rather disturbing. Rich body, but not fat, again heavy on the vanilla while the roastiness is really downplayed. Very boozy finish. Ends better than it starts, yet I’m not really convinced yet. I hope the coming coffee version can balance out the sweetness somehow. 220217

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Brewski Snout Juice Imperial Stout ].ABV: 11.5%. Unclear dark brown black color with a large, frothy, excellent lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, coffee, coffee vegetables. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, coffee, sugary, fruity, chocolate - vanilla. On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Black beer lasting tan head. bit papery of an impy stout. Yes chocolate and some molasses. Warms up a bit but the paper isnt great. Chocolate sponge cake aroma. Bit disappointing for a £12 a pint beer.
