Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sweet brown malt, dried fruits, figs, alcohol, caramel, oak, a touch of red wine, with a hint of chocolate. Flavour is sweet and a little boozy. Above medium body with no carbonation. The Madeira barrel improves upon a fairly mediocre base beer.

Fles 33cl thuis. Vineus, Madeira, niet te zoet, hout, wat laurier, chocolade, caramel, heel licht roasted malts, pruim, rozijn. Verrassend. Goede balans. (15-11-2020).
