A rich golden ale, brewed with Ramsbury's own malted barely, a little torrified wheat and English Golding hops, gives this ale its distinctively light, hoppy aroma and taste.

27th April 2010. Slightly hazy gold beer. Dry palate. Tangy fruit. Orange, grapefruit and a little peach. Big surprise here though is smoky malt! Didn’t see that one coming given the beers colour! A bit of apple in the finish. Interesting!

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm
Light amber color. Light manure touch, in a quite inoffensive Golden Ale, with some malt flavor and rather strong bitterness. Tasted in parallel, I would prefer the Kennet Valley.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 19 Oct 2009) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried apricots, citrus and hints of earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, dried apricots and earthy hops in the finish. Rather thin body, some sweetness. Well made and well balanced, without straying too far from the expected path.
