A rich golden ale, brewed with Ramsbury's own malted barely, a little torrified wheat and English Golding hops, gives this ale its distinctively light, hoppy aroma and taste.

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body with some carbonation and a small, white head. Biscuity malts, some pine and resin, and fruity hops in the aroma. Almost alcoholic in the flavor, with the same biscuity malts and hop-flavors as in the aroma. There’s some bitterness too, but quite gentle. Finishes in the same way. It’s a quite sweet beer. Sure decent, but not the kind of beer I would like to drink all night. (081018)

Medium offwhite coarse head does not last. Hazy yellow body. Light delicate floral resiny aroma with honey and malts notes. Balanced and very harmonic. Dry-sweet resiny honeyish taste with earthy pale malts notes. Soft, mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dry dusty floral aftertaste. Nice! (0.25l cask, St. Urho’s pub.)

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma is fine but weak grainy. Flavor is refreshing, fruity, a bit acidulous and a hint of bitterness in the finish. A bit thin and weak body make this refreshing but easy forgotten.

500 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate head. Very nice hoppy aroma, notes of blackcurrants and tropical fruits. The flavour is fruity and hoppy throughout, notes of marmalade and grapefruit. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle picked up from Millets Farm, near Abingdon, Oxon 13-05-07. Poured gold with small white head. Not much of an aroma, some hops and bitterness coud be detected, but bland and lacking in all departments other than appearance which was fine.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A pale orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light hop note, while the flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. A beer without any character.
