Draught. Cloudy caramel with a solid head. Aroma is raspberry and caramel. Flavour is dry powders chocolate, fruity, long dry finish.

Stark karbonisierter, süß röstiger Antrunk. Mild herb, die Süße weicht zum Mittelteil. Dann leider ziemlich trocken, langweilig. Kaum vorhandener Nachgeschmack. 9/8/7/6//8

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy copper brown with stable beige head. Clear, fruity and estery aroma, with notes of malt. Faint flavour of fruit, with estery and hoppy notes, ending rather rough and somehow irregularly bitter. Nothing special but drinkable.

Draught @ Brauhaus Wittenberg, Markt 6, Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany 06886.Clear medium amber colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt, dark malt, light sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110707]

On tap at the brewpub. Copper-coloured in the glass. Roastmalty and aroma, a little bit like chocolate. Starts malty and sweet, finish is modest dry. Really good Dunkel!
