Rating from 2009. Schöne dunkel Bernsteinfarbe. Der Antrunk ist mild-süßlich. Im Hauptteil wirkt das bier etwas flach, ganz leicht malzig und dabei auch etwas brotig. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, malzig-süffig und nicht zu herb oder sonderlich tiefgehend. Schade. 8/12/7/7

At the Bad Staffelstein Bierfest, 15 August 2014. Deep amber with a frothy, off-white head. Sweetish caramel notes, some bready malts with a slightly toasty edge, leading to a soft finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at the Brewpub. Dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner cremigen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, würzig. Geschmack malzig, würzig, leicht röstmalzig, Karamell.

4.8% Clear mid brown colour thin beige head. It’s pretty good. Fine a tasty mid brown Landbier clean well made . Ok some sting on the finish

Draught @ Brauerei Reblitz, Kleines Brauhaus in Nedensdorf, Am Mahlberg 1, Bad Staffelstein-Nedensdorf, Bavaria, Germany 96231. [ As Reblitz Dunkles Landbier ].ABV: 4.8%. Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, caramel malt, mash, nutty notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, malty, nutty, burnt caramel notes. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. Sehr milder Antrunk mit vereinzelten Malznoten, zu mild. Minimalst röstig, das Bier entwickelt sich nicht. Sehr leicht karamellig-süß im Abgang. Die Grundaromen sind ok, das Bier ist in seiner Gesamtheit aber zu mild. 11/7/8/7//7

Draught at the brewpub as Dunkles Landbier. Mild buttery aroma, slightly spicy. Cloudy red/brown colour. Roasted flavour, some caramel. Hint of diacetyl, but not as much as in the aroma.

Hazy amber with a medium off white to beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of grassy hops. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel and grassy hops. Finished fairly dry.

Reddish golden amber. Very toasty, breadcrusty aroma. Very breadcrusty palate with decent sugars and lots of toastiness. Good brew.
